Thomas Bednarek MD
Radiologist
Dr. Thomas F. Bednarek attended Kings College where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. He received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Bednarek served as Chairman of Radiology with Guthrie HealthCare System and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Guthrie Clinic. He was the Director of Women’s Imaging and The Breast Intervention Program at Wyoming Valley Health Care System’s Saxton Pavilion. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology, and has been practicing medicine in NEPA since 1992.
Dr. Bednarek is the Director of the Dr. Thomas F. Bednarek’s Women’s Diagnostic Imaging Center at Vision Imaging of Kingston and Hazleton Imaging. His specialties lie in women’s imaging such as: Mammography, Digital Mammography, Breast MRI, Ultrasound, DEXA & Image Guided Breast Interventions.
John Dawsey MD
Radiologist
Dr. John Dawsey attended Albright College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry. He received his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in Philadelphia. PA. Dr. Dawsey completed his radiology residency at The Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. Following his residency, Dr. Dawsey completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology, and has been practicing medicine in NEPA since 1991.
Dr. Dawsey's interests include all aspects of General Radiology, Vascular and Cross Sectional Imaging. Dr. Dawsey is adept at minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions (Interventional Radiology) which lend themselves well to the outpatient setting at Vision Imaging of Kingston and Hazleton Imaging.
